A Quick Look at Internet Banking

With Internet Banking there's no monthly subscription to access and transact on your Daily Savings Account, Savings Plan or multi loan. Internet Banking allows you to:

• Transfer money between your accounts
• Create beneficiaries and make payments
• View and download statements
• View transaction and payment history
• Register for SMS Update and maintain your preferences

Security

To sign in to Internet Banking, you'll need to enter your unique username, password and security token password. Security token passwords, which are generated by a security token, help keep your account/s and money secure. During Internet Banking registration, you can choose your preferred type of security token: a security token on a cellphone or a security token on a keyring. Both are equally secure and, unlike passwords sent by SMS, they cannot be intercepted as long as the security token stays in your possession. Security token passwords are needed when you sign in to Internet Banking or pay beneficiaries. The security token on a cellphone must be downloaded on your cellphone and can be replaced at any time.

Register for Internet Banking 

If you’re already a Capitec Bank client, please visit your nearest branch with your GlobalOne card to register for Internet Banking.

If you're not a Capitec Bank client, please remember to bring the following documents along with you:

• Identification document.
• Original proof of residential address (any of the approved documents in your name with your street address).
