Banking at ATMs
Using ATMs is one of the easiest ways to access your Global One and transact on your accounts. We have a network of 2 168 ATMs which are situated in our branches and at various locations throughout South Africa.
Using an ATM will save you time because you're able to transact without having to visit your nearest branch. To access your account via an ATM, you’ll need to either dip or insert your card and enter your PIN.
If you’re not near one of our ATMs, you can also use the nationwide Saswitch ATM network, including all Spark and Cash Axcess ATMs.

ATM Safety
For your own safety, please read these ATM safety tips.
- Avoid using the ATM if there are any suspicious-looking individuals loitering or if the area is dimly lit
- Have your card ready in your hand before you approach the ATM
- Don't use the ATM if you notice anything unusual indicating it may have been tampered with
- Be especially cautious when strangers offer to help you at an ATM, even if you're experiencing difficulty. Don't allow yourself to be distracted while you're at the ATM and don't accept help from a stranger
- Don't let anyone see you enter your PIN. Shield the keypad with your hand when doing so
- Never disclose your PIN to anybody, not even to the bank or the police
- If you feel the ATM is not working normally, press the 'Cancel' key, withdraw your card and proceed to another ATM
- If your card gets jammed, retained or lost, or if strangers interfere with you at an ATM, report this immediately to the bank and/or the police using the helpline provided on the ATM
- Take your time to complete your transaction and secure your card and cash in your wallet, handbag or pocket before leaving the ATM

Branch Hours
Minimum branch hours
Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm
Saturday: 8am – 1pm
Sunday: 10am – 2pm (selected branches)
Closed on public holidays.
Please note that some of our branches open at 8:30am on mid-month Wednesdays due to training.
Certain peak days
7am – 7pm, for clients who can't make it to the bank during regular hours.
Our branches in malls follow mall trading hours.
