After a brilliant debut in 2024, Capitec handmadeAFRICA is back in 2025 – and it’s bigger, better and bolder.
We’re bringing together over 40 design brands from across the continent – each with its own unique story, style and deep love for African craftsmanship. Over 3 major events, these brands will be part of a curated space that celebrates luxury, heritage and innovation.

We’re excited to return to Decorex Africa this year with our signature Capitec handmadeAFRICA space:
Visitors will experience a curated collection of design excellence in our immersive Capitec handmadeAFRICA retail capsule. It’s more than just a showcase – it’s a celebration of African creativity.
This year, we’re also launching something brand new – the Capitec handmadeAFRICA Design MRKT, created in partnership with Decorex Africa. This artisanal market will run alongside Decorex in both cities, offering a hands-on shopping experience filled with even more design treasures from across Africa.
