Budget payment:

Tips for managing your credit card payments effectively

  • Make timely payments: Pay your credit card balance on time. Late or missed payments can negatively affect your credit score, leading to higher interest rates and additional fees
  • Pay your full balance: If possible, you should pay the full outstanding balance to avoid interest charges
  • Keep your credit use low: To avoid high interest rates, keep your credit card balance below 30% of your limit
  • Deposit income into your credit card account: Transfer money into your credit card so you can earn interest on your positive credit card balance
  • Maintain a positive balance: Make sure you have enough money in your credit account to cover monthly account fees and payments
  • Track your spending and set limits: Use your app to view your transaction history and set daily limits for withdrawals and card purchases. This helps you stay within your budget and avoid overspending
  • Review your budget regularly: Keep your budget updated to stay on top of your spending and keep up with your credit card payments
