How to set up Samsung Pay on your phone

  1. Open the Samsung Pay app. If it’s not installed, download it from the Galaxy Store or Play Store
  2. Sign in or create your Samsung account
  3. Agree to the terms and conditions, then tap Next
  4. Choose a verification method – fingerprint, iris scan or PIN. You'll also need to set a 4-digit Samsung Pay PIN
  5. Add your Capitec card by scanning it, tapping it on the back of your phone or entering the details manually

How to pay with Samsung Pay

  1. Open your Samsung Pay app
  2. Choose your Capitec card
  3. Tap Pay
  4. Authenticate with your fingerprint, face scan or Samsung Pay PIN
  5. Tap your phone or watch near the card reader
  6. Enter your card PIN if prompted
