How to buy electricity or water

Use our app to buy electricity or water:

1. Sign in on our app
2. Tap Transact
3. Tap Buy electricity and water
4. Tap Add new meter or choose a meter under ‘My meters’
5. Choose an amount
6. Tap Buy

How to add a meter:

1. Sign in on our app
2. Tap Transact
3. Tap Buy electricity and water
4. Tap Add beneficiary
5. Enter a meter name, utility type (electricity or water) and meter number
6. Tap Add
7. Enter your Remote PIN and confirm

Note: You can now share an electricity token directly from our app using your favourite messaging platform (e.g. WhatsApp). You can also tap View History to see previous tokens bought for a beneficiary on the app.

Dial *120*3279# to buy electricity or water:

1. Choose Buy
2. Choose Electricity
3. Choose ‘From’ account
4. Enter purchase amount or select amount from list
5. Enter electricity meter number
6. Enter your Mobile Banking PIN to confirm

Note: You will be able to see electricity tokens you’ve bought previously, but you won’t be able to share the history using *120*3279#.
