We proudly sponsor The Taste Master Junior, giving young chefs the opportunity to take meaningful steps towards a future in food.
The Taste Master Junior is an inspiring food competition featuring a group of passionate 13 to 17‑year‑olds from across the country – each bringing their own flair, focus and love for food.
From curious foodies experimenting in the kitchen to young entrepreneurs already selling what they make, the show celebrates the energy and creativity of SA’s youth.
Over 12 weeks, aspiring young chefs take on practical challenges that mirror the real pressures of a working kitchen. Guided by judges like Zola Nene and Fritz Schoon, they learn to plate dishes with confidence, balance flavour, work with different ingredients and manage their time during fast‑paced cook‑offs.
We sponsor Taste Master Junior because helping young South Africans grow is at the heart of our purpose. We believe in creating real opportunities that spark possibility, foster talent and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Many young people dream of building a future in food – whether that means studying culinary arts, starting a food brand or opening their own restaurant. The show gives them the chance to practise real cooking techniques, test their ideas and cook under pressure. They also get guidance from industry professionals to help them grow.
Our sponsorship includes the winner’s cash prize, which helps them take a practical step towards that dream.

This support reflects our purpose – to ignite growth, create opportunities and empower young South Africans to turn their passion into something real.
Our support helps:
This impact is already clear in the journey of our latest winner, Arona Yster. She has put most of her R200 000 prize towards her future studies in architecture because investing in her education is one of her top priorities. She also used part of the prize to upgrade her content creation equipment, including a new camera and filming gear, so she can keep growing her brand and sharing her passion online.
When young chefs take their next step, they can bank on us to champion their journey.
We’re proud to support a show that nurtures skills, builds confidence and gives our youth the chance to shine.
