Business owners can now apply for credit

If you own or are a member/shareholder/director of an NPO, a trust, CC or a public/private company and earn a monthly salary, you may qualify for a loan.

Take control of your credit and bank better to live better today. We now offer loans of up to R250 000 to self-employed clients who earn a monthly salary from their business. As a business owner, you’ll apply for credit in your own personal capacity and not as a business.

 

Who can apply?

To apply for business owner’s credit, your business must be registered as one of the following:

  • Association not for gain
  • Close Corporation (CC)
  • Incorporated (Inc)
  • Public (Ltd) or Private company (Pty Ltd)
  • Trust

Note: We can grant credit to informally self-employed individuals including freelancers and sole traders.

 

Required documents

You need the following documents when applying:

  • SA identity document 
  • Latest 3 monthly salary slips
  • Latest 3-month bank statement
