How accounting integrations work

For supported accounting software, transactions can be imported automatically. This helps reduce manual work and keeps your records up to date.

How to set up a bank feed

  1. Log in to your business accounting software
  2. Update an existing bank feed or add a new one
  3. Search for Capitec Business
  4. Enter your Capitec Business username and password
  5. Accept our integration partner Yodlee’s terms and conditions
  6. Complete the OTP verification if prompted
  7. Select the accounts you want to link and choose a transaction start date

Once connected, your transactions will flow into your accounting software automatically and reconciliation can begin.

Use accounting software with manual uploads

How to manually upload your transactions to other accounting software that doesn’t support automatic bank feeds:

  1. Sign in on our app or online banking
  2. Download your Business Banking transaction history
  3. Choose CSV or OFX
  4. Upload the file into your accounting software

  • We’ll never send links asking you to log in or reconnect bank feeds
  • We’ll never ask for your PIN, password or full card details
