ATM safety tips

• Have your card ready in your hand before you get to the ATM
• Cover the pinpad with your hand and don't let anyone see you entering your PIN
• Be alert if strangers offer to help you and don't get distracted, even if you're struggling with the transaction
• Cover the card slot with your hand if someone distracts you after you put your card into the ATM
• Don't use the ATM if there are suspicious-looking people nearby
• Don't use the ATM if the area's poorly lit
• Don't use it if you think it has been tampered with
• If the ATM's not working as it should press the Cancel button, take your card and go to another ATM
• Take your time to finish your transaction and put your card and cash in your wallet, handbag or pocket before leaving
• Ask our ATM assistant for help if you need it
• Always make sure that the card returned to you is your card
• If your card is lost or stolen, you can ​use our app to stop the card
