Deletion request

You have the right to request that your personal information be deleted or destroyed. However, we will retain information that is lawful and within the retention period.

The right of deletion is not absolute. As a Capitec client, this means that we cannot delete any personal information that enables us to provide you with a service or product. For example, your ID number, email address, basic contact information or account information.

A request to delete or destroy your personal information may result in services and products you have at Capitec being discontinued.
