Benefits 

Switching from another insurer? If you've already completed waiting periods with them, we'll
drop ours for the same coverage. Plus, we'll reduce our wait time based on what you've
already completed with your previous insurer.

If a person who is covered dies in an accident, the funeral benefit is doubled from day one.

For children, this is limited to the maximum legal insurance cover amounts.

Pause your plan instead of cancelling.
 
How long can I pause?
  • For up to six months – you won’t pay monthly premiums during that time.
Will I still get cover?
  • All funeral cover benefits will stop for as long as you pause and don’t pay.
How do I reactivate my cover?
  • Your cover starts when you start paying a premium again.
How many times can I do this?
  • There is no limit to the number of times you can apply over your policy term. However, you must wait 24 months to pause your cover again after restarting it from a previous pause

Keep your cover for up to six months without paying monthly premiums after your child is
born or adopted. All you need to do is provide an unabridged birth certificate within 3 months of the birth or adoption.

How long do I wait? There is an initial waiting period of 6 months, and you’ll have to wait
another 6 months after you’ve used the benefit to apply again.

How many times can I apply? You can apply as many times as you like during your policy
term.

This starts automatically after the policyholder’s death, provided the claim is approved.
If a policyholder passes away, other lives on the insurance policy will still be covered for 6
months without paying premiums.

The law limits how much we can pay out for a child’s death. We must follow these limits for all our policies and any other insures’ policies we know about. If the child cover on your policy hits these limits, we will only pay out the maximum allowed amount showed in the table.
