How to pay accounts using the Capitec app

Step-by-step instructions for paying accounts

You can pay accounts for yourself or someone else, all you need is the reference number and your app.

If you’re paying an account for the first time:

1. Sign in on your app
2. Tap Transact
3. Tap Pay bills
4. Choose or search for a biller
5. Enter the reference number and tap Confirm
6. Review the bill details and tap Pay now

If you’ve paid a service provider before:

1. Sign in on your app
2. Tap Transact
3. Tap Pay bills
4. Tap History and choose a transaction
5. Tap Pay again 

To add an account to your favourites:

1. Sign in on your app
2. Tap Transact
3. Tap Pay bills
4. Next to Favourites, tap Edit
5. Under Recent, choose the account you want to add to your favourites (you can add up to 8)
