Top up electricity with an electro voucher

We are making life easier for you with our electro vouchers. You can now buy electricity on our app, even if you don’t have the meter number with you.

Here’s how

1. Sign in and tap Transact
2. Choose Buy vouchers, then Capitec Electro Voucher
3. Follow the on-screen prompts

Note: You can view and resend an electro voucher by viewing the purchase history on your app.

How to redeem an electro voucher

1. You'll get a 9-digit PIN once you've bought your electro voucher (you'll need this PIN, keep it safe)
2. Dial *120*41589*PIN*YourMeterNumber# on your phone 
3. You’ll receive your token number by SMS
4. Use this token number to load your electricity units
