Credit insurance moving to Capitec Life Limited

What’s changing?

All our credit insurance policies underwritten by Guardrisk Life Limited will be transferred to Capitec Life Limited as part of a business transaction concluded between these insurers. The transfer will take place on 1 September 2025, as approved by the Prudential Authority.

How does this affect clients with credit insurance?

You don't need to do anything. If you have credit insurance with us, your cover will automatically continue and your monthly payment amount and benefits will stay the same, but a few things related to your policy will change.

Capitec Life Limited is a public company and a licensed life insurer which forms part of the Capitec group of companies.
