Credit insurance covers you in the event of permanent or temporary disability, retrenchment, unemployment, the inability to earn an income (other than disability), or death.
Capitec must be notified within 12 months of the date of the event, in one of the following ways:
After your claim has been approved or declined, we will call or SMS you with the outcome. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have your correct personal and contact details.
You have 3 months to submit the required documents once you’ve notified Capitec of the event.
